Community Public Health Students Engage in Community Health Outreach at Khok Lek School

"December 4, 2023 - In a significant community engagement initiative, third-year students from the School of Public Health at Walailak University conducted a health screening program for primary school students at Wat Khok Lek School in Thasala, Nakhon Si Thammarat. The outreach, part of the university’s hands-on learning approach, involved preliminary health assessments and basic disease screening for young students. This initiative provided university students with valuable field experience in health assessment and treatment practices, going beyond theoretical knowledge. Moreover, the visit was not solely focused on health. The university students also organized various recreational activities and games, offering a fun-filled day for the children.
