Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the School of Public Health Walailak University

"December 1, 2024 - Walailak University's School of Public Health marked its 25th anniversary with a traditional ceremony, encapsulating a spirit of devotion and community service. The event, held at the School’s main building, commenced with a 'Buwang Suang' ritual, a revered Thai custom, followed by a Buddhist chanting ceremony. Leading the religious segment was the Ecclesiastical District Officer of Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat, symbolizing a blend of spirituality and academia. Assistant Professor Dr. Supabhorn Yimthiang, the Dean of the School of Public Health, presided over the laypersons' side of the ceremony. The event saw significant attendance from faculty members, staff, and students. This milestone, themed ""25th year for the benefit of mankind,"" underscores the School’s dedication to advancing public health for the greater good.
