Associate Professor Dr. Sanhawat Chaiwong and Lecturer Rattawan Somporn have successfully secured a road safety research grant from the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (Thai Health), the Accident Prevention Network Office, and the World Health Organization (WHO).

"Associate Professor Dr. Sanhawat Chaiwong, Lecturer Rattawan Somporn, Lecturer Saby Yeesa, Mr. Suriyan Thungsaeng, and the research team from the Mass Communication Faculty participated in a meeting regarding the research project under the plan ""Institutional Measures for Road Safety in Higher Education Institutions,"" organized by ThaiHealth, the Accident Prevention Network Office, WHO, and a network from 9 universities across the country at the Amari Airport Hotel in Bangkok, from October 6-8, 2023. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Weerapan Supanchaimat and Dr. Wittaya Chartbunchachai. During this event, Associate Professor Dr. Sanhawat Chaiwong presented a research project on the development of institutional road safety measures and the enhancement of motorcycle riding knowledge through real-life situational theory and a five-point road safety education program. This project was selected as one of the top ten and received first-year funding of 430,000 Baht to drive the project proposal towards achieving its objectives and reducing losses from road accidents."
