The event brought together school members for a day of learning and celebration. Morning Session: Educational Innovations and Curriculum Development The morning session focused on transitioning the academic calendar from a trimester to a semester system for the upcoming 2024 academic year. School members engaged in discussions on how this change would affect teaching and learning processes, aiming to ensure a smooth transition. Additionally, a workshop was held to guide instructors through the creation of TQF3 (Thai Qualifications Framework 3) documents. The workshop emphasized aligning course objectives with the Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs), ensuring comprehensive assessment of students throughout their studies and upon graduation. Afternoon Session: Songkran Celebrations In the afternoon, the school celebrated Songkran, the traditional Thai New Year. School members gathered to pay respect to senior school members in a water-pouring ceremony, a gesture symbolizing gratitude and blessing. The celebration fostered a warm and joyful atmosphere, marking a successful end to the day's events. Overall, the half-year workshop and Songkran celebration brought together the School of Public Health's community, blending educational progress with cultural traditions.
