Students who choose Chinese as a foreign language are able to communicate in Chinese in daily life.

Admission Requirements
1. Educational Background: Must have completed Senior High School (Grade 12) or its equivalent under the curriculum of the Ministry of Education, specifically in the Science-Mathematics track.
2. Credit Bank System: Must comply with Walailak University Regulations on the Credit Bank System, B.E. 2565 (2022).
3. Health Condition: Must be free from severe illnesses, serious contagious diseases, or any physical/mental abnormalities that would constitute an obstacle to education.
4. University Regulations: Must comply with Walailak University Regulations on Undergraduate Studies, Semester System, B.E. 2566 (2023).
5. Nationality and Language: Open to both Thai and international students who possess a high level of proficiency in speaking and using the Thai language.

Occupational Health and Safety Program, School of Public Health, Walailak University has teaching since the academic year 1998. This program has created twenty generations of graduates to serve the society. OCC lecturers are certified by the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF) and are outstanding in the region for research publication per lecturer (1:3). Moreover, students can complete their study course in 3 years and 2 semesters. Graduate employment rate is 97.5%. The average employer’s satisfaction is 4.33 of 5. OCC graduates are outstanding in morality, ethics, knowledge and intellectual skills.

Professional Safety Officer
Conducts risk assessments and ensures compliance with occupational safety and health laws in industrial factories, construction companies, hospitals, service businesses, logistics companies, and government agencies.
Public Health Officer
Implements health promotion, disease prevention, and disease control programs in hospitals, health promotion hospitals, public health offices, local administrative organizations, and health-related agencies.
Public Health Academic/Scholar
Analyzes data and plans, develops, and evaluates health programs in public health agencies, research institutions, educational institutions, and health policy organizations.
Labor Academic/Officer
Inspects working conditions and enforces labor protection laws within the Ministry of Labour, labor protection and welfare offices, and government or state enterprise organizations.
Occupational Health Auditor/Consultant
Evaluates and provides consultation on occupational health and safety management systems in consulting firms, industrial factories, and organizations implementing occupational health and safety standards.
Industrial Hygienist
Monitors and controls workplace hazards such as dust, chemicals, noise, and heat in industrial plants, energy industries, petrochemical industries, and environmental monitoring companies.
Occupational Health and Safety Entrepreneur
Establishs a company or works as an independent consultant providing environmental monitoring, safety training, and occupational health and safety advisory services to various organizations.
