Public Health Walailak University Delegation Pays Respects to the Late Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother

On June 25, 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Supabhorn Yimthiang, Dean of the School of Public Health, Walailak University, accompanied by faculty members and students from the Occupational Health and Safety Program, paid their respects to the late Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall, the Grand Palace, Bangkok. The delegation joined the nation in mourning and commemorated Her Majesty’s lifelong dedication to the well-being of the Thai people, including her contributions to health, quality of life, community development and public welfare. For the faculty and students, the visit also provided a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the values of service to society that underpin public health and occupational health practice protecting people from health and workplace risks, promoting well-being and creating safer environments for communities. The School of Public Health, Walailak University, joins the Thai people in remembering Her Majesty’s enduring contributions to the nation with profound respect and gratitude.
