Bachelor of Science Program in Environmental Health 2025
This program systematically integrates knowledge in science, health and environment. It organizes teaching and learning processes by focusing on graduates while promoting thinking skills, leadership, morality and ethics. Moreover, this program produces graduates who can create environmental systems that support health as well as health and environmental justice in the context of culture in a multicultural society.

Program Learning Outcomes, PLOs
- PLO 1: Explain scientific, information technology, mathematical, and health science knowledge to monitor, surveil, prevent, and control environmental factors affecting human health.
- PLO 2: Apply the body of knowledge within the community public health professional framework to perform environmental health practices while considering multicultural differences.
- PLO 3: Apply environmental health knowledge to propose management approaches or innovative concepts for resolving environmental health issues.
- PLO 4: Apply scientific, mathematical, statistical, and health science knowledge to the surveillance and prevention of occupational and environmental diseases.
- PLO 5: Demonstrate skills in using scientific tools and equipment for surveying, collecting, and analyzing environmental samples.
- PLO 6: Demonstrate skills in utilizing information technology to acquire knowledge, as well as retrieve and analyze data in environmental health practices.
- PLO 7: Demonstrate counseling skills to prevent and mitigate environmental factors affecting health under professional practice standards.
- PLO 8: Demonstrate skills in designing and implementing projects to promote health, as well as prevent and resolve health and environmental issues.
- PLO 9: Possess effective communication skills in Thai and English (or Chinese, if selected by the student).
- PLO 10: Demonstrate teamwork skills and the ability to respect and accept differing opinions from others.
- PLO 11: Demonstrate skills in physical exercise, health promotion, and the surveillance and prevention of occupational and environmental diseases.

Admission Requirements
1. Educational Background: Must have completed Senior High School (Grade 12) or its equivalent under the curriculum of the Ministry of Education, specifically in the Science-Mathematics track.
2. Credit Bank System: Must comply with Walailak University Regulations on the Credit Bank System, B.E. 2565 (2022).
3. Health Condition: Must be free from severe illnesses, serious contagious diseases, or any physical/mental abnormalities that would constitute an obstacle to education.
4. University Regulations: Must comply with Walailak University Regulations on Undergraduate Studies, Semester System, B.E. 2566 (2023).
5. Nationality and Language: Open to both Thai and international students who possess a high level of proficiency in speaking and using the Thai language.

Guidelines for studies
Students are able to study for master degrees and doctoral degrees in the country and abroad. They can continue their studies in many fields such as environmental health, environmental sanitation, environmental toxicology, environmental engineering, environmental technology, environmental biology, industrial hygiene
