School of Public Health Joins Commemoration Ceremony Honoring the Father of Thai Science

Advancing Science, Empowering Public Health On August 18, 2025, the School of Public Health took part in the wreath-laying ceremony in honor of King Mongkut (Rama IV), recognized as the ""Father of Thai Science."" The ceremony was held on the occasion of Thailand's National Science Day 2025 at Meeting Room 4, Building of Learning Innovation, and was hosted by the School of Science. Representing the School of Public Health, Asst. Prof. Dr. Noppadon Preecha, Assistant Dean, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Phisit Pouyfung and Lect. Rattawan Somporn, participated in the tribute ceremony to pay respect to the great monarch whose contributions laid the foundation of scientific advancement in Thailand. The participation of the School of Public Health in this meaningful event reflects the interdisciplinary collaboration between science and public health. It also reinforces the school's mission to cultivate graduates with vision, leadership, and a strong grounding in scientific knowledge that can drive sustainable development in the health system and society at large.
