The forum took place at Phattharathammaphon Conference Hall, 9th Floor, Chulabhornvetjawat Building, Walailak Hospital. A total of 44 research concept proposals were presented during the forum, demonstrating the readiness and commitment of local stakeholders to build a more robust and responsive disaster management system. The proposals focused on developing projects tailored to the specific needs of the region and aimed at operational implementation at the provincial level. The outcomes of the discussion are expected to lead to the development of full project proposals for potential funding from multiple national sources. These include the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth), the National Health Security Office, the Environmental Fund, the ThaiCI Fund, the Energy Conservation Promotion Fund, the Electricity Development Fund, and the Science, Research and Innovation Promotion Fund.
