PHWU Occupational Health Students Gain Real-World Experience at Obayashi Camp 2024

PHWU Occupational Health Students Join THAI OBAYASHI WINTER CAMP 2024 for Hands-on Learning in Engineering and Safety Twelve Occupational Health and Safety students from the School of Public Health, Walailak University, participated in the THAI OBAYASHI WINTER CAMP 2024, a 3-day, 2-night program (2-4 December, 2024), under the guidance of Lecturer ACTING.SUB-LT. Areeya Madsusan. DAY 1: Activities began at O-NES Tower, Bangkok, with team-building sessions among students from various universities. In the afternoon, students traveled to the Thai Obayashi Training Center in Chonburi to learn about construction engineering and solar rooftop installation, followed by an exhibition of construction innovations. DAY 2: The morning session focused on construction safety, working at heights, and PPE usage. In the afternoon, students visited the Institute of Marine Science at Burapha University to explore aquatic animal care systems and wastewater management. DAY 3: Students toured Thai Obayashi construction projects and learned about architectural design and high-rise building maintenance at O-NES Tower. This camp provided students with real-world knowledge, hands-on experience, and networking opportunities with peers from across the country.
