On Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, the Student Union of the School of Public Health, in collaboration with the Department of Environmental Health and Technology, organized the annual PHWU Sport Day 2025 at the Physical Education Building, Walailak University. This beloved tradition aims to foster stronger connections among first-year students, senior students, and faculty members through engaging sports and recreational activities under the fun-filled “Jurassic Park” theme. The event kicked off at 12:00 PM with “Jurassic Check-in”, marking participants' entry into a world of prehistoric adventure. It was followed by “Raptor Runway”, a dinosaur-themed fancy costume showcase, and “Dino so Fit”, where new students competed in dynamic, athletic challenges that tested their strength and agility. In the afternoon, the excitement continued with “Cheerassic Battle”, a vibrant cheerleading competition promoting teamwork and unity. Next came “Dino Thai Style x”, a showcase of traditional Thai games and cultural sports that brought laughter and delight. The event concluded with “Dino Award”, recognizing outstanding participants, and “Dino Moment”, a heartwarming closing segment symbolizing the spirit of camaraderie among students and faculty. Beyond entertainment, this event served as a platform for students to enhance their teamwork, creative expression, and leadership skills, contributing to their holistic development as future public health professionals.
