Walailak University’s School of Public Health Hosts the Public Health Contest 2025
School of Public Health, Walailak University, recently hosted the Public Health Contest 2025" for high school students, with the winning teams receiving a royal trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Aditayadornkitikhun. The competition, held on June 20, 2025, at Walailak University Hospital, aimed to promote academic and 21st-century skills, while raising awareness about the importance of public health for national development. The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Suwat Chansuk, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarawut Paliphote, Vice President of Walailak University, ceremoniously offered flowers and expressed profound gratitude for the Princess's royal grace. The event was attended by over 1,000 students, teachers, and administrators from schools nationwide. According to Asst.Prof.Dr. Supabhorn Yimthiang, Dean of the School of Public Health, this was the second consecutive year the contest was held. She reported that over 1,800 students from across the country applied, with finalists competing in five categories: Public Health Projects: 14 teams Public Health Quiz: 133 teams Public Health Short Video Clip: 25 teams Public Health English Speech Contest: 14 individuals Innovation for School Mental Health: 12 teams The final results of the Public Health Contest 2025 are as follows: 1. The competition's judging panel consisted of qualified experts from both the public and private sectors.
