Welcome Dr. Lafi Munira to PHWU!

School of Public Health, Walailak University is delighted to welcome Dr. Lafi Munira as a new faculty member in the Department of Community Public Health, officially starting on May 28, 2025. Dr. Munira brings rich academic and research experience, with special interests in: Mental Health Health Behavior & Health Education Health Promotion & Behavioral Change Self-Care & Self-Efficacy Access to Healthcare Medical Anthropology Qualitative and Mixed Methods Research Her recent research includes: Factors Associated with Loneliness among Adolescents in Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, and the Philippines Effects of Coping, Affirmation, Resilience, and Empowerment (CARE) Program on Depression, Mental Health Literacy, and Coping Skills among People with Depression in Indonesia: A Mixed Methods Study Medication adherence, depression levels, and quality of life among young people with depression in Indonesia: a mixed method study We warmly welcome Dr. Munira to our PHWU family and look forward to impactful contributions in public health research and education.
