PHWU Marks 26 Years with Buddhist Ceremony and New Year Celebration

PHWU Celebrates 26th Anniversary with Merit-Making Ceremony and New Year Festivities On December 26, 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Supabhorn Yimthiang, Dean of the School of Public Health, Walailak University, presided over the merit-making ceremony held in honor of the 26th anniversary of the School’s founding and the New Year 2025 celebration at the School of Public Health building. The event featured a morning alms-giving ceremony with five Buddhist monks, followed by chanting and offering of meals. The ceremony was attended by administrators, faculty members, staff, and students, fostering a sense of unity and preserving Thai cultural traditions. The event also served to promote good fortune and strengthen relationships within the School as the new year begins. PHWU remains committed to excellence in public health education while preserving cultural heritage and fostering unity within the institution.
