PHWU Contributes to Key Public Health Strategies at Deans Meeting 2024

Asst.Prof.Dr. Supabhorn Yimthiang, Dean of PHWU, Attends National Deans of Public Health Meeting 2024 Asst.Prof.Dr. Supabhorn Yimthiang, Dean of the School of Public Health, Walailak University, participated in the 2/2024 Annual Meeting of the Deans of Public Health Faculties of Thailand, held on December 20-21, 2024, at Rua Rasada Hotel, Trang, hosted by the Faculty of Health and Sports Science, Thaksin University. The meeting was conducted both onsite and via Zoom, with Prof. Dr.Wongsa Laohasiriwong, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Khon Kaen University, presiding. Key discussions included major public health conferences in 2025, such as AHLA in Taiwan, GMS Regional 2025, Community Health Workers Symposium, One Health Conference at Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University, and APACPH at Mae Fah Luang University, along with research on health inequity in GMS countries and accreditation of community health curricula. PHWU is committed to advancing public health education and research, contributing to sustainable development and excellence in the field.
