School of Public Health Participates in Ceremony Honoring King Rama IV on National Science Day 2024

On August 18, 2024, the School of Public Health paid tribute to His Majesty King Mongkut (Rama IV), also known as Phra Siam Thevathirat Mahamakut Wittaya Maharaj, the Father of Thai Science, on the occasion of National Science Day 2024. The ceremony was held at the Sri Thammarat Auditorium, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Walailak University. Representing the School of Public Health, Asst. Prof. Dr. Phisit Pouyfung, Asst. Prof. Paleeratana Wongrith, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Wanvisa Saisanan Na Ayudhaya, offered golden and silver floral tributes as a mark of deep respect and gratitude for King Rama IV's contributions to the advancement of science in Thailand. His visionary leadership laid the foundation for all branches of science, including health sciences, with public health being a prime example. The event was organized by the School of Science and highlighted the enduring legacy of King Rama IV’s scientific achievements, which continue to inspire and inform the fields of health sciences and public health.
