School of Public Health Honors Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn’s 67th Birthday with Almsgiving Ceremony
On July 4, 2024, the administration, faculty, staff, and students of the School of Public Health, led by Associate Professor Dr.Supabhorn Yimthiang, Dean of the School, and Associate Professor Dr. Prasert Makkaew, Associate Dean, participated in a ceremony to pay homage and offer alms. This event was held in honor of the birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Walailak, who turned 67 this year. The ceremony was organized to express loyalty and gratitude for her contributions to the university and the nation. The ceremony began in the morning at 7:30 AM at the Laem Phloen area, Thai Buri Building, where Associate Professor Dr. Supabhorn Yimthiang, along with other administrators and personnel, offered alms to monks. This was done as a meritorious act dedicated to Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Walailak, enhancing the auspiciousness and unity within the organization. Following this, at 9:00 AM in the main auditorium of the Thai Buri Building, Associate Professor Dr. Supabhorn Yimthiang laid Gold Silver Tray Pedestal Flower offerings in front of a portrait of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Walailak. This ceremony was not only a celebration of an important day but also a recognition of Her Royal Highness's benevolence and significant contributions for the welfare of the Thai people and Walailak University.
