📰 Graduate Students Join “Grad Connect Day 2025” to Foster Global Inspiration and Connections
On August 1, 2025, graduate students from the Master of Public Health and Doctor of Philosophy Program in Public Health Research at the School of Graduate Studies, Walailak University, actively participated in Grad Connect Day 2025 held at Phattaratthammapon Conference Room, 9th Floor, Building B, Walailak University Hospital.
The morning session began with “Meet the President: Ignite and Inspire”, where students had the opportunity to engage directly with the President of the university. The session served as an inspiration, emphasizing the pivotal role of graduate students as agents of global change.
In the afternoon, the event continued with “GRAD Society: Chill & Connect”, a session designed to strengthen intercultural and interdisciplinary relationships through various recreational and team-building activities. The atmosphere encouraged openness, creativity, and collaborative learning.
Participation in this event not only enhanced students’ social and leadership skills, but also deepened their awareness of their role in driving health systems at both community and global levels. The experience aligned with the mission of the academic programs—to develop research-driven public health leaders for the 21st century.
