School of Public Health and Center for International affairs, Walailak University jointly organized the 1st WU-UPM Public Health Camp 2018 which was held at Walailak University during 29th – 31st August 2018. There were 30 students and 4 lecturers from Department of Environmental and Occupational Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University Putra Malaysia (UPM) and 30 students from School of Public Health, Walailak University attended the camp. The objectives of this event were; to strengthen the collaboration between Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UPM and School of Public Health, WU in terms of teaching and research, and to enhance English proficiency of students. There was variety of interesting activities including campus tour, public health walk rally, community visit, and cultural exchange. The last night, all campers joint the farewell ceremony, where UPM students got surprised “Malaysia’s Independence Day” by WU students. It’s a memorable night which full of fun, joy, and tears of friendship.
